Power requirements

The pi-top [4] is the first of our products to use USB-C Power Delivery. This means that it is compatible with a wider variety of chargers than our previous products. The important thing to note is that the pi-top [4] will only accept a 12Volt or a 15 Volt power supply.

If you're not sure if your charger can do this, then have a look at the writing on the body of the charger. You should be able to see 12V or 15V on the body.

We always recommend using a charger with a minimum of 36 Watts so that you charge the battery fastest and provide power to any of the additional plates

15

Alternatively, if you're looking to buy a new charger, then the product description will tell you as well.
