Understanding your Further license

How do I check and adjust the details of my Further license?

If you are the admin of a School with an active Further license you can confirm the license details from the 'Licenses' tab of your school page. From here you can also activate new licenses or cancel your license renewal.

To open this first log in to Further as a teacher account, open the Dashboard page, click your school from the list on the left, and click the 'Licenses' tab.

Reviewing your Licenses

On the Licenses tab there are two tables - a 'Summary' which shows the combined access given by all your licenses, and a list of 'Active Licenses'.

The Summary area lists content bundles available to you in Further for example the 'pi-top' realm content, 'Further Certification for Teachers' course or 'MakerBot' realm content. To the right of the content description is the number of seats your school has for this content, which might be a number or may say Unlimited. If there are a limited number of seats available these must be assigned to school members.

Below the Summary, the Active Licenses area lists each active license along with it's status (which may be active, trial, past_due etc), it's end date, and whether it's set to automatically renew.

Managing your Licenses

If your license is listed a 'Yes' in the 'Renew' column, then it is expected to be continued after the end date. You may be sent an invoice on the end date at which point your license will be extended for one month while confirm you want to renew and collect payment.

If you want to cancel renewal of a license, click the 'Manage Licenses' button at the top of the Licenses tab to open them management page provided by Stripe. From here you can cancel your license subscription.

If you want have a new license code to activate you can do this from the 'Activate License Code' button at the top of the Licenses tab.

If you want to purchase new content bundles, you can do that through the overlay presented when you open the restricted content, or directly  through the content provider's website.
